Just finished my last bottle :0( at Jul 6, 2010
When I found out it was being discontinued I bought the last case of it that I could find & I just finished it. My hair has looked horrible since I stopped using it. Nothing compares to it even the more expensive brands. It is so depressing. Please bring it back!

Best Product EVER at Jun 29, 2010
I've struggled with curly frizzy hair all my life, and I've tried EVERY product imaginable. This product is the only one that works. All other products leave my hair looking greasy or incredibly crunchy. But this product is perfect. I can use as much or as little of it, and my hair looks perfect no matter what.
Please please bring it back.

Alternatives at Feb 10, 2010
I have 2 alternatives if you are willing to try something else. I have very thick, very curly hair and these 2 products have worked well for me:
1) Fekkai's "Luscious Curls" Cream (available at Shopper's in Canada). A dime sized amount for damp, shoulder length thick hair, some mousse applied on ends in humidity, diffuse and you get very light, airy curls with lots of shine.
2) Davines' "No.1 Oil Non-Oil" for Wizards (available online and through certain hair salons and beauty supply retailers). Similar to serum, less viscous. Use only a few drops in the palm of your hand, rub to heat through, apply on WET hair evenly. For more control, use in conjunction with Davines' "Momo" fluid for dry, frizzy hair.
My hair was "rescued" by these products after Citre Shine was pulled. I hope they can help you too!

I made a Facebook Group at Sep 6, 2009
I made a FB group called Citre Shine Making Waves Curl Booster.
I've bought gel by every brand possible, it's like a science experiment & nothing is working as well as this product did. I'm now a frizzy, stick, crunchy mess.

I'm surprised that there isn't more uprising over the discontinuation of this product! at May 24, 2009
Fine, curly hair --- this is the only product out there. I have tried others to no avail. Please don't torture the people who already have unruly hair!!!

PLEASE DON'T DISCONTINUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at May 16, 2009
This sounds like an exaggeration but this is truly the ONLY product that works well for my naturally curly hair. I am so upset that I haven't been able to find any for almost a year and every product that I have used since and before just suck! Please bring it back! Double the price if you must! Those of us who know the value of the product surely will pay!

Lost without it!!! at Mar 16, 2009
This is a travesty!! I know I sound ultra dramatic about hair but it's only because this is the ONLY thing that works on my crazy hair.. less than a quarter bottle left.. why have they taken away the one product that works for us!!!
We should contact the parent company, Schwartzkopf and threaten a boycott lol.

amazing at Feb 16, 2009
I agree! This is the best and only product I use but I'm down to my last bottle and am desperately trying to find more. Anyone know how to contact Citre Shine or have you found a comparable product to use?

a miracle at Jan 8, 2009
I have tried somewhere between 15 and 20 products for curly hair, trying to find one that tames my frizz without leaving my hair crunchy or weighed down. I finally found Citre Shine Curl Booster about 2 years ago and it was the perfect product I was looking for! Unfortunately, this product has been discontinued and is impossible to find ANYWHERE. If you know this product, PLEASE write to Citre Shine to put it back on the market. I don't know what I'm going to do now...I guess I'll go out and buy a bunch of hats!!!

Fabulous~ at Nov 8, 2008
This is a phenomenal product. It leaves no residue and does feel product-y at all. It defines curls perfectly and I have been using it for years. There is no super crunchy feel but has good hold. I often would wear it curly for a day or two and then straighten it without a problem with the product still in. Unfortunately, it has since been discontinued (in fact, I think all Citre Shine products have ...) :(
