Shakira's Curls! (: at May 30, 2009
My hair curls like hers. But I tame the frizz, and it looks like I use a curling iron. Her hair would look much better if it wasn't so poofy and combed out. Brushing out curls as a style is BAD and creates unwanted volume. I love my curly hair (:
I wear it an inch or two belown my shoulders, in my natural dark auburn color. I also have side tapering bangs.
To get curly hair without frizz:
1)Wet hair or get out of shower.
2)Brush hair then wrap hair in a towel and continue getting ready until it's damp.
3)Apply a handful of mousee, curl enhancer, or anti-frizz serum, or even watered-down hair gel to your hair after removing it from the towel. I find that Garnier Anti-Frizz Serum works best.
4)Finger the product through your hair evenly, DON'T brush it through or comb it. If your hair is messy from the towel, shake it out a bit and run fingers through the top to smooth.
5)Scrunch up your curls GENTLY.
6)For best results, let air dry, or if your in hurry, blow-dry with a diffuser.
That's what I have found works best for me (:
If anybody has any other tips, please share.
